Letfs have a Japanese cultural experience at a traditional old folk house
gShio-no-Michi Chojiyah in Omachi.
This building was built in 1890, and was used as a salt wholesale house.
It has a traditional structure of pillar, and you can see Japanese traditional facilities such as a fireplace called gIrorih, earthen floor called gDomah, and a drawing room with tatami.
And of course, it has a Japanese style warehouse used for storing salt.
In such a traditional folk house, you can experience wearing Japanese costume and having powdered green tea.

Japanese old playing experience such as gKen-damah (Japanese bilboquet), gMenkoh (game of slapping cards down to overturn opponentfs) and gOte-damah (beanbags for juggling) are free of charge.
gShu-jih (Japanese calligraphy) experience (30~40 min.) is also available for 1,500 yen separately.
